Welcome to Robotics Summer Camp located at Tiger Cho's Wordclass Taekwondo! This camp is open to the community. In this camp, your students will have a blast exploring the world of robotic technologies as they build, learn and play. Campers explore exciting themes through guided robotics challenges designed to spark creativity and collaboration. No prior robotics or coding experience is required—just curiosity and a love for building! This full-day camp runs from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM and is open to elementary and middle school students, ages 5-14.

Half day sessions are available. You can choose to bring your child from 9-11:30a or 12:30-3p. Choose half day during registration.

STEP UP FOR STUDENTS

RoboThink First Coast proudly accepts Step Up for Students scholarships as a direct provider, offering financial assistance to families seeking quality STEM education. To use your Step Up funds, register in 2 steps:
1. Click the pink tickets button above. Choose the QTY you will be reserving funds for. Click Register. Fill out your camper's details and answer registration questions. Click Continue. Stop Here before payment.

2. Navigate to Step Up and login to your account to reserve your Step Up fund. Follow instructions below: 


Directions for accessing RoboThink using your Step Up direct funds:

To use your Step Up funds directly through your EMA Marketplace account, login to your Step Up account. On the left-hand side, you should see Marketplace in the menu to the left. Click there and then in the center window that opens, click on Find Providers. Select your student from the drop down at the top. In the search bar, type in RoboThink First Coast. Select St. Augustine for the location. Scroll down for services. Select the program by changing the quantity drop down to the number of programs you want to register for and then Add to Cart. For Summer Camp, choose the $330 option. From there, continue to shopping cart and select reserve funds. This will allocate the funds to us. At the end of your program, RoboThink will be able to update your account with the finish dates of your program and approve your session. Then the funds will be removed from your account. Please contact us with any questions.

OUR MILITARY KIDS GRANT

RoboThink accepts Our Military Kids grants for recipients to participate in our week-long camp. Our Military Kids provides activity grants for children and teens during a parent’s National Guard or Reserve deployment or combat-injury recovery. CAMPER INFORMATION

Along with your payment above, please fill out the camper information form. The link is provided during registration. Campers will be divided up by age/grade level within workspaces. Families should communicate any medical, dietary or other needs, as well as unique abilities to RoboThink prior to the start of camp.


Food Policies

It is the parent's responsibility to provide lunch and snacks for each registered child and communicate any allergies or medical conditions. You will be asked a series of food questions on the camper form. Please label all bagged lunches and snacks with your child's first and last name. Please also send a water bottle with only water with your child(ren). Please do not send glass bottles/containers. Please also send enough snacks for your campers full camp day. Campers will have multiple snack breaks and a lunch hour. 


Pick Up

If you plan to drop off but want to see what your children have created, please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early. Clean up and breaking down of the robots begins 15 minutes before the end of the camp session.

The Last Day
The last day of camp, there will be a celebration 15-30 minutes before the end of camp (both morning and afternoon sessions). All parents are invited to attend the celebration. For exact time, please check with camp instructors during camp week.


AGREEMENTS AND POLICIES


ROBOTHINK PHOTO RELEASE AGREEMENT - You will be able to accept or deny to this release during registration.

I acknowledge that while my child is attending this RoboThink program, he/she may be photographed by a still or video camera. I authorize RoboThink, LLC. to utilize my child’s photographic image without identification in its brochures and advertisements in any media, including RoboThink’s website. In giving my consent, I hereby release and hold harmless RoboThink and its agents from any and all responsibility or liability relating to the use of the photographs. I understand that neither my child nor I will receive compensation should any photograph authorized hereunder be used.


CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations received at least one week prior to the date of the first class will receive a full refund of the registration fee. Cancellations received after this date, but prior to the second class, will receive a refund, minus a $30 cancellation fee. There are no refunds for cancellations after the second class of the program. There are no refunds or make-ups for missed classes. If a class is cancelled due to weather or other events, the class will be rescheduled.

RoboThink is a step-by-step international learning program. All levels accepted. All students will work on new projects each session.
