Join us at Freedom Crossing Academy every Thursday afterschool! In this program, students will have a blast exploring the world of robotic technologies as they build, learn and play. Each week, students dive into exciting hands-on STEM adventures—building robotic models, exploring engineering challenges, and discovering the science behind how things work. Our step-by-step lessons make learning fun while reinforcing key STEM concepts in a creative, engaging way. Have your builders been enrolled in our programs? They will continue to build upon the skills they've learned with new projects to advance in RoboThink robotics curriculum. Are your builders new? Great! They will embark on their journey in the world of robotics! New and returning students can look forward to new curriculum for each session so students continue to learn and grow as they develop in RoboThink! Open to all FCA students, both Extended Day AND students not enrolled in Extended Day. For Extended Day students, the cost for RoboThink registration is in addition to Extended Day enrollment costs. For grades K-8.

Procedures

RoboThink instructors and school staff will do their best to ensure all enrolled students report to Robotics class by 2:30pm. Please remind your students on Thursdays they are to report to Robotics instead of their regular dismissal routine. Freedom Crossing staff is provided with enrollment names and do their best to make sure all students report to Robotics during the scheduled time. RoboThink makes all efforts to ensure all enrolled students are present during their scheduled Robotics time, however, RoboThink is not responsible if students do not report to their scheduled RoboThink class. Robots will be broken down at the end of each day and clean up time starts 15 minutes before the end of class.

Food Policies

Students will be allowed snacks according to Freedom Crossing's food policies. Please refer to FC's food policies when sending snacks for RoboThink afterschool. No food allowed to be eaten in the media center but we can take students out to the outside patio before class starts for a quick snack.
