Join us at River City Science Academy Intracoastal every Wednesday and build some robots with us! We're so excited to bring our STEM programs to your neighborhood. Look forward to a new class every week, new robots and new skills to keep each class fresh and exciting. Registration is required. For grades K-8. New curriculum for each cycle so students continue to learn and grow as they develop in RoboThink robotics! During each cycle, new students embark on their robotics journey starting with level 1 lessons, while returning students continue to build on lessons they've learned in previous sessions. Students are grouped in classroom by grade and robotics level.

Note: On early release days, robotics will NOT meet

This is a 6 week session. The price has been adjusted currently at $110 for 4 weeks of classes. Your child will not be behind if you would like to sign them up for the remaining 4 weeks.

There is no class on November 27 in observance of Thanksgiving

Procedures

RoboThink instructors and school staff will do their best to ensure all enrolled students report to Robotics class by 3pm. Please remind your students on Wednesdays they are to report to Robotics instead of their regular dismissal routine. RCSA staff is provided with enrollment names and do their best to make sure all students report to Robotics during the scheduled time. RoboThink takes enrollment seriously and makes all efforts to ensure all enrolled students are present during their scheduled Robotics time, however, RoboThink is not responsible if students do not report to their scheduled RoboThink class. Robots will be broken down at the end of each day and clean up time starts 15 minutes before the end of class.

Pick Up Policy

Pick up is promptly at 4:30pm. There is no class on early release days. Pick up will be in the regular pick up area. Only a parent, guardian or approved pick-up person may pick up your child. Please communicate with RoboThink for any changes in the pick-up routine.

RoboThink is a step-by-step international learning program. All levels accepted. Our exciting STEM programs develop core STEM skills that students apply to school subjects and their future careers, while fostering a love for science and robotics. With RoboThink’s exclusive robotics kit and our STEAM curriculum that is NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) aligned, students have a blast learning about robotics, engineering, technology and other STEM subjects.

ROBOTHINK PHOTO RELEASE AGREEMENT - You will be able to accept or deny to this release during registration

I acknowledge that while my child is attending this RoboThink program, he/she may be photographed by a still or video camera. I authorize RoboThink, LLC. to utilize my child’s photographic image without identification in its brochures and advertisements in any media, including RoboThink’s website. In giving my consent, I hereby release and hold harmless RoboThink and its agents from any and all responsibility or liability relating to the use of the photographs. I understand that neither my child nor I will receive compensation should any photograph authorized hereunder be used.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations received at least one week prior to the date of the first class will receive a full refund of the registration fee. Cancellations received after this date, but prior to the second class, will receive a refund, minus a $30 cancellation fee. There are no refunds for cancellations after the second class of the program. There are no refunds or make-ups for missed classes. If a class is cancelled due to weather or other events, the class will be rescheduled.
