SJCSD - Crookshank Elementary - Summer Camp 2024
Join us at Crookshank Elementary for summer camp science week! This registration camp is for students who have been selected by their school to participate in robotics funded by St. Johns County School District. We're so excited to bring our STEAM programs to your school! Registration is required. For grades K-5.
Summer Camps:
• Morning and afternoon themed program
• Exciting, hands-on robot building
• Supervised lunch hour (families send lunch with their students.)
RoboThink is a step-by-step international learning program. All levels accepted. Our exciting STEM programs develop core STEM skills that students apply to school subjects and their future careers, while fostering a love for science and robotics. With RoboThink’s exclusive robotics kit and our STEAM curriculum that is NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) aligned, students have a blast learning about robotics, engineering, technology and other STEM subjects.

Families should communicate any medical, dietary or other needs, as well as special abilities to RoboThink prior to the start of camp.
Food Policies
You will be asked a series of food questions on the registration form. It is the family's responsibility to provide lunch and snacks for each registered child and communicate any allergies or medical conditions. Please label all bagged lunches and snacks with your child's first and last name and date. You can also send a water bottle with your child(ren). Please do not send glass bottles/containers.
Pick Up Policy
Pick up your students at the double doors of the main hallway in front of the school or wait in your car in the car line. Bring your car pick up slip and a valid photo ID in order to pick up your child. Pick up is promptly at 3:00p. Students will be released to parents first at the main hallway and then brought around to cars in the pick up line.
The Last Day
The last day of class, there will be a graduation ceremony 15-30 minutes before the end of camp.

By registering, you agree to the Cancellation Policy.
ROBOTHINK PHOTO RELEASE AGREEMENT - You will be able to accept or deny to this release during registration
I acknowledge that while my child is attending this RoboThink program, he/she may be photographed by a still or video camera. I authorize RoboThink, LLC. to utilize my child’s photographic image without identification in its brochures and advertisements in any media, including RoboThink’s website. In giving my consent, I hereby release and hold harmless RoboThink and its agents from any and all responsibility or liability relating to the use of the photographs. I understand that neither my child nor I will receive compensation should any photograph authorized hereunder be used.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations received at least one week prior to the date of the first class will receive a full refund of the registration fee. Cancellations received after this date, but prior to the second class, will receive a refund, minus a $30 cancellation fee. There are no refunds for cancellations after the second class of the program. There are no refunds or make-ups for missed classes. If a class is cancelled due to weather or other events, the class will be rescheduled.
